Like most gay couples, the answer to "how long have you two been together" is never simple - there's when you met, when you first knew it was serious, when you first agreed it was serious, when you decided that you were working towards living together, when you started living together (and other follow different paths but are still couples, so this is just the list that I have experienced.)

I've got a horrible memory for dates so I write them down in my calendar and set them for yearly repeat. I saw in my calendar that yesterday was the day that elijoi moved out of his housing in Boston and joined me in Jersey City.
