Yesterday I took possession of my new Mac. My old machine - which I've had since 1999 - is a 400Mhz G4 with 512K memory. It's been a good machine but as each new version of Photoshop comes along the newer, smarter functions get slower and slower and slower.

So I bought a Power Mac G5 Dual 2Ghz with 1.5G of memory and LOTS of disk space. It's way quick and I've been falling in love with Photoshop all over again.

A few years ago I did a bicycling trip through the south of France and one of my favorite places was Fontaine-de-Vaucluse - so many ghosts, just a beautiful place. It was overcast and I've been playing with some of the old 2mp shots I took there, wanting to do things with the color that was enhanced but still not unbelieveable. I'm pretty satisfied for a first try. As usual, I always appreciate comments, which ones people like, don't like, etc.
