I still can barely understand it but I'm starting to get it intellectually and to be able to see the things in images that I can change using it.

This photo was taken this morning, it was sort of overcast and hazy:

and this is after working with it in the Lab space, just using curves on the Lightness and a and b channels.

I'm still a little heavy handed with it but I am seeing things that it would be hard to do in RGB.

.... Miss Cleome Rose, still damp and a bit confused and camera-shy.

Cooper is not quite sure what's going on. The "let's see how Cooper gets along with the shelter dogs" trip was very informative. Apparently, some dogs are allowed to lick my face while others have to be kept on the other side of the large play area and others attacked from the get-go. I've never seen Cooper that aggressive before.

Cleo (her given name) is small, sweet, very loving, calm, and looks and waddles like a german shepherd puppy, but she's 1.5 years old and probably a mix between a shepherd and a sharpei - the legs and the wrinkly squarish face are tell-tale.

We plan on making her a very lucky dog.
