Pupdate March 15, 2006

Things are smoothing out. Cooper is less protective, they actually play some. Cleo (I want to rename her "Carol" or "Otis" but Ernie won't let me) is sort of freaked by the velocity with which Cooper runs his laps around the yard. We got her a tug toy and they will play with it together only as long as I'm holding it in the middle.

I've been working really late (it's 3am and I just finished) and she sleeps on the bed until I go to bed and then she moves to the pad on the floor. Dogs are just weird sometimes in their logic but you go with it.

The photo on the right is probably the most accurate picture of her we have. I love how she sits so her little girl thing doesn't touch the ground.

Dave Carballo

I'd known Dave for 17 years. I can't comprehend that he's gone. It's just not possible.

I will post photos tomorrow. Maybe that will help me deal.
