Jul. 1st, 2006 06:49 amI've been researching ways of having custom tiles made for our backsplash and one of the suggestions was to have glass photo-etched and then install it like tile.
I don't know what I think about the idea - I like glass tiles but I'm not sure how the etching on the front would hold up and if it's etched on the back it might disappear.
So in looking around I found a place that makes, among other products, pet urns:

I've had cats. To my eye this is the face of a cat that's pissed off but is still working you to get something it wants. Not exactly the image I'd want for eternity. Actually, just having something like this around - "inside are the ashes from when you burned my little dead kitty body" - would creep me out.
