I think a lot of people have seen this but it's worth repeating just for the annoyance factor.

There is something very Philip K Dick about this. A deep existential fear grows in me when I watch it.

I think I have it:

Behr paints:

Pink Blossom for the walls.
Lace Cap for the ceiling.

I hate choosing colors.

Colors

So of course I should be able to mock up what different colors will look like using Photoshop.

These are starting points but to my eye it's obvious which works the best. I'd love to hear feedback.

Thanks for all the feedback. I am on a Mac and I looked at the photos on Ernie's PC and they're significantly darker (and awful.)

I lightened the peach and the green and then made lighter copies to have them show more normally on PCs.

Both Ernie and I are tending towards the green.

I don't usually adjust my Mac images for PC gamma which results in them being a little more "rich" (aka darker) on PC monitors.

Here are the images of the original green paint color, the first as it is on my Mac, and the second adjusted in ImageReady for a PC monitor with a gamma of 2.2:

Here are the peach versions - Mac and PC:

I like how Mommy helps with #1 but Daddy helps with #2.
And of course, there's product to buy.

Music in pants with hot wax. Cool flameage at the end. I think that's a scent player at the end. Or an answering machine. Not safe for work (exposed willy.)

Please Dawn, not on Christmas!

Because no one gets enough Divine.

The first 20min of Female Trouble are some of the most brillant film ever made.

There is just so much going on in this video.

Am I just stuck in the past, or is there something that they had that just's gotten lost?

I think that Eva Cassidy was one of the best singers/musicians of the last 50 years. If I had a time machine, going to see her live would be at the top of the list.

She makes me cry.

I know I'm overdosing on YouTube, but imagine me as a very small boy with a sheet draped around me vamping wildly all around the house when no one was home. I still get a secret thrill.

This is why people still reference Patti Smith.

I saw the Alex Harvey Band when I was 16. Amazing show. And this cover of a Jacques Brel song left me stunned.

I sent to see Bukowski soon after getting out of high school. He consumed much of a case of beer during the reading. My friend insisted we go backstage and we found him and his girlfriend in the alley in a drunken fight, with her pants around her ankles.

I don't find art in tragedy, and I am impressed in such art in spite of it.
