Orange County for Xmas
Dec. 7th, 2006 06:26 pmBecause it's boring, and we don't care about holidays, really, caring more about money, it looks like I'm going to be going to visit Mom in Newport Beach by myself.
I have friends in San Diego, but I don't really know anyone in South OC anymore.
I feel like I should take advantage of the atmosphere there to do something special, like take photographs of roadkill or write an outline of a slasher film or become addicted to something or satisfy somewhat my enjoyment of severe plastic surgery by walking around the malls.
I love my mother and where she lives has amazing weather. But it sucks as a destination and is too far away from LA to take day trips and I HATE So Cal traffic.
I know it makes sense but I'm feeling very grumpy about it. Not $600+ grumpy, but not looking forward to it.
