After puzzling about why we were getting more basement leaks I realized that the post-construction drainage was all messed up. There was a new low spot next to the foundation that more than half the roof surface drained to.

I put a collector under each rain chain and the water will be routed to a large gravel-filled underground pit away from the foundation. Should make the trees happier, too.

Most importantly the vege bed is ready to go. The tomato cages are in place, the soil amended and turned and leveled, the stepping stones positioned. We're going to grow tomatos, basil, brocolli, salad greens, and beans.

The little plants are brocolli, kale, and cilantro.

Yay.
