I took photos at Bill's show last night. I haven't had much experience with "concert" photography and learned a few things.

When I was out in So Cal I got a staph infection on my butt - probably picked up from stupidly using my gym sweat-wipeup towel as a dry-off towel after showering. It came on overnight and hurt and might have just been a standard butt zip but I didn't want to deal with BUTT EATING STAPH so I went to a clinic and they gave me antibiotics and told me to take them for 5 days if it went away fast and 10 if it went away slowly.

It went away fast but I think I'm getting another one so I got out the antibiotics and started taking them while waiting for the doctor to call me back. I was looking at the label for the Keflex and noticed a bunch of information that I've never seen before, like the color and size and what numbers are printed on the capsules. I don't know if that's a CVS thing or a Newport Beach thing.

While the Bactrim is simply white, the Keflex is "Swedish Orange". It looks like a shade of red that a drag queen would wear just about anywhere - hair, cheeks, lips, gown, or shoes.

A search of "swedish orange" led me to this website that lists colorants and what they're made of and what the standards are for how much can be ingested per day. The orange color in Swedish Orange comes from iron oxides, and the organizations that have standards listed are the World Health Organization (WHO), the US Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), and the Japanese Pharmaceutical Excipients Directory (JPED) have set guidelines on injestion of Iron Oxide and Elemental Iron.

According the WHO, I can take 14 per day; JPED says 47; and CFR says 3. My prescription is for 4 a day.

I'm not worried.
