In lieu of writing - The Blue Nile
Aug. 22nd, 2007 11:01 amAnnie Lennox has always been a voice I've been attracted to during periods of change in my life, and I've always been a huge fan of _The Blue Nile_ since their first recording _A Walk Across the Rooftops_ was released in 1984. Their second, _Hats_, came out in 1989 and included the song -The Downtown Lights- that Annie Lennox recorded in 1995.

Here's the band somewhat recently doing -Tinseltown in the Rain- from their first recording.
They're not very prolific - only 4 recordings - but the 1st two are in my top twenty of all time.
