Removing people from my "friends" list
Jul. 2nd, 2008 10:36 pmI have all sorts of reasons, in different combination at different times. For me, my "friends" list is a reading list. Some people on it are people who are actual friends. Some are people I've never met but feel close to. Some are people I know nothing about and may have had only very lightweight reasons for adding.
If I'm a friend of yours and I remove you from my list then it makes sense to ask why. If I don't know you, spare me the drama of linking disconnected events together, constructing a storyline, and then telling me off for it. It's *your* drama, not mine.
Reading a lot of entries takes time. I don't have a lot of extra time. Use that as a reason for being removed from my reading list if you need one.
In other words, JEESH, MARY, CHILL OUT.
