Seated leg press
Sep. 5th, 2008 08:10 pmMy legs are finally getting stronger. I did three sets of 15 of 920lbs (or maybe more, I don't know how much the part you press up weights without any weight on it.)
I maxed out the machine with 9 45lb plates on each side, and we sat a 110lb dumbbell on top of it. I wrapped my knees which helped immensely.
Then I did incrementing sets on the leg extension machine, starting at 25 reps at 50lbs (then 60, 70, 80, 90, 110, 130, 150, 170, 190) and almost getting 8 at 200lbs.
I had to take the elevator up to street level. I think I will be very sore tomorrow.
