New York Botanical Gardens Orchid Show

A few weeks ago I went and took my old Rolleiflex. A very different style of taking pictures, I had to stand back at least three feet from the subject, focus by looking down at a ground glass screen, and each roll of film could contain 12 shots. So I took 24 total instead of the hundreds I would have taken with my digital camera.

I shot almost wide open so the depth of field was very shallow and you can see the creamy bokeh that this lens is known for. Click through for larger versions.
