Bear Cosmetic Surgery
May. 4th, 2009 11:41 amErnie's trying to figure out what to write for his article and someone suggested the currently-thematic subject of beauty queens and fake tits. Trying to map that into a bear context I started thinking about cosmetic surgery for bears - moob implants, belly reservoirs, body hair, beard upgrades. Then I thought about how people can become plastic surgery addicts and lose the ability to understand that more is not always better so where would that go? Wookie hair suits, huge racks and bellies you could fit octuplets in? That's where it feel apart because the latter two wouldn't happen.
I think that a good percentage of guys who identify as bears, if they could walk up to a machine that would suck out most of their frontal fat with limited risk and recuperation would do so. That contrary to, say, twink muscle fire island pines subculture, some of the basic features that bears find attractive in others they do not think attractive on themselves. But if you're getting laid enough and the only noise about being too comes from your own head, then really, it's just a lot easier and more fun to eat and drink more and exercise less. If I didn't actually enjoy working out I doubt that I could force myself to do it. And I do love to eat and drink.
I just have this idea of a tragic SF film where a new body-morph machine shows up it's easy and free and after a while, a lot of the things that people find attractive in others disappear.
Or maybe I'm just complete wrong and am surrounded and influenced by neurotics.
