New favorite Flickr group
Jun. 13th, 2009 06:52 amFor those few not familiar with Flickr, people can see your images and if they want to preserve a link to them they can "favorite" them. I can see who favorites my pictures and I can also go to their account and see all their other favorites.
Some of the "physique" pictures I've put up have been favorited a number of times and it's always fascinating to me to see the set that someone's put me into. I've posted before about how I seem to fit into a wider range of classifications than I would have thought but the point of my bringing this up is that the way the viewing of favorites is set up you see a grid of 6x6 thumbnails and you can pretty instantly get a sense of the type of image and usually body type the person likes.
I've got an image which is on this guy's list (these links are NSFW) and this guy's list and this guy's list and this guy's list. That's quite a range.
I don't often look at groups on Flickr, there're the "fine art male" groups and a few others that can have good/interesting photography in them, but somehow I stumbled upon Dumb fuzzy jocks.

The recognition here for me is that from the time I was a child, a lot of these are the age and physical types I noticed and - I don't know what words to use other than "ached for" here, an intense desire that made no sense to me at the time. Once I started jacking off, these were the guys that I would stare at at the beach, in the gym, and memorize for later use. It's not that they're straight (in fact too much of the really macho posturing is a total turnoff), it's the combination of a sort of goofiness (I am still highly attracted to goofy-hot) and more mature bodies with hair.
