Yadda yadda yadda. What's baffling is that this got by:
"Compared to skinnies, muscular men also tended to produce fewer infection-fighting white blood cells and less of an important immune molecule called C-reactive protein, which helps destroy pathogens."
This is evidence of the "cost" (along with eating more.)
Hello? Wouldn't the "cost" be something quantifiable, like how often they got sick or how long they took to get better? Aren't higher white cell and immune protein counts indicative of more infections?
Bah.
