daltxbear briefly on Sunday (in the morass of the Bear Cafe and he had to run off to eat pastries) and he said in all seriousness that he was nervous about meeting showmeonthedoll because he thought he might be mean (why he'd want to meet us if he thought that is another question.) I found that amazing since Ernie is so NOT mean, in fact most of the time he's giggling and making other people giggle along.
I realized that I've made my part of this little community that I define by my friends list by periodically meeting up with NY LJ folks and by posting photos - which is a great motivator for me to take, process, and post them) but I don't post a lot of personal stuff and I have no idea what people might or might not think of me (I don't think anyone thinks I'm mean, though.)
I know it's a little late to get on the bandwagon and everyone is probably all out of questions of if you have any, ask away. The only ones I'd feel uncomfortable answering are those related to my employment and employer. Not that I have anything to hide but I really think it's best to always be able to say that what I write here is consciously separate from anything that might mis/represent them.
