Slept a good continuous 7 hours last night. That's a very good thing since my sleep patterns have been so off. It's the first day I've felt really rested in quite a while.

Great back/arm workout at the gym. I've become one of those guys who makes loud noises to be able to complete the last reps of the last set, enjoying the sheer brutishness of moving heavy weights while having a smugness about doing it all with excellent, non-injury-causing form.

I've also lost 8lbs. That's probably a side-effect of the non-wine lifestyle we've started recently practicing or maybe it's from the sleep disturbances. I hope it's the former because while I haven't been paying much attention to my weight as I've been working out I think that 240lbs is probably a little heavy for me and I certainly would like to fit more comfortably into my non-short-pants (and even some of the shorts are hard to button.) It will be interesting to see if I'm moving to a new, lower set point. I might even be inspired to start doing more cardio work.

I've got appointments in the city this afternoon and I think I might squeeze in a mani-pedi inbetween. Just cause I'm worth it.

I don't bite my nails but I've never really had them all even. I am thinking that for interviews that would be a good thing, like having shined shoes.
