guiser1 arranged a meet for
artsycub at the delightfully funky Bongo in west Chelsea Heights.
I posted pictures previously
here.
One of the things I love about low-light photography with the little Fujifilm F31d is that while it can be noisy when underexposed and at a high ISO (1600 in this case) it doesn't do any smeary noise reduction. It lets me decide where to leave noise, where to enhance it, where to blur it away. To me it gives an almost painterly effect at times. Maybe "that's not photography" to some people, or too twee and overworked, but it's still an image that I took and I didn't modify structure, just the color/contrast/blur, etc.
