NYC Laurie Anderson concert Tuesday night - extra ticket

Because Ernie's Monsters reading is happening this Thursday he doesn't want to go with me to see Laurie Anderson, Antony, Blonde Redhead, David Byrne, Norah Jones, MEN, Moby, Lou Reed, Damien Rice, Scissor Sisters and more in Brooklyn Tuesday (tomorrow night).

This is one of those only-in-NYC sorts of things. Large numbers of persons in black and vegans and smart people.

Black Party outfit

I'm going to the Black Party with bigdanimal and friends, the plan is to arrive early in the morning (like actual morning, not middle of the night morning) and dance. A different style and agenda than getting there with everyone else and doing the same sorts of inebriants as everyone else.

I was trying to figure out what to wear. Yesterday I stopped into the Leather Man on Christopher St and just wasn't inspired and in discussion with the shop girl about it he suggested just wearing underwear.

I remembered that I have these cool boots that I almost never wear, and it might be an interesting combo so I took some photos. I've been feeling a little down the last couple of days, nothing in particular, but there's nothing like basic narcissistic nudity to lift one's spirit.

Of course it's highly processed. Arguably not safe for work, but I am wearing underwear (and boots!).
