Big tasty balls

Last night I made Lion's Head meatballs.

Yummy! I had the butcher grind a pork butt and the taste and texture were astounding. Good thing I doubled the recipe since Ernie and I ate all 8 of them.

Que butch!

Ernie and a co-worker signed up for Pure Power Boot Camp. Ernie doesn't like to ride the bus alone and it would be easier for him if we both got up ridiculously early four days a week and I really don't do enough cardio.

I'm a little scared and the having to wear fatigues is a bit ::eye roll::. But six weeks for four days a week hard cardio can't be anything but good in the long run.

We start Monday. Think good thoughts.

Balancing the butch

We just received two roses in the mail:

Louise Clements and Orange Waves.

I can be such a queen when it comes to highly fragrant roses. We have about 16 roses already. I like them even better with clematis growing up through them.

I have gotten a lot of roses from heirloom roses - they're not grafted so they don't have a common virus that grafted roses have and even though the plants are small they get really big and strong in one season. I highly recommend them.
