Photoshop auto-blend

From Thanksgiving I had two images, pretty close to each other in terms of composition, with completely different focussed areas. I tried the new auto-blend function in Photoshop. What it's supposed to do is select the in-focus areas in two images of the same thing and blend them. It's pretty cool and did well with a challenging pair of images.

The first two followed by the blended image (which I cropped to remove some ragged edges):





Cool.

Thanksgiving in Boston

I didn't take a lot of pictures but I like how these few came out.

There was no lack of shocking conversation.





Humorous stories at the expense of those not present.





Ultimately it's all about the possibility of plate licking.
