Day of obscurity
Jan. 11th, 2009 01:21 pmWe finally got going in the morning and drove up to Waimea Canyon, which is supposed to look like this:

But our view was like this:

Then we found a farm stand where we got all sorts of cook fruits including apple bananas, local pineapple, rambutan, jackfruit, and guanabana.
Then we went to the dive shop for Luis & Michael's first certification dive. Wasn't that impressed by the operation, no sure what we were paying for, and then we got down to the cove where the instructor was waiting. She was absolutely great, but when we got in the water it had the color and visibility of what Austin Powers drank thinking it was coffee:

It was about 2ft visibility, if that. So they called it off.
No diving today so hopefully it should be clearer.
