Roses on the table

I went out in the rain this morning and cut some roses. Some of them are amazing colors and most of them scented, but the clear winner is the big red (it looks sort of orange here, but it's not - it's a deep _rose_ red) that you see on the top left and in the middle.

It's a hybrid tea so there's one flower per stem. We bought mostly roses that have multiple blooms but I'm going back to liking the tea roses where you can get them easily without sacrificing young buds.

It has the most amazing perfect rose fragrance that keeps delighting me as the humid outside air drifts past it.
