I know, I know....

.... I shouldn't even be looking at sites that show these kinds of pictures, but I want to know what photographic technique can give women such strong man-face:





I don't think that its just that they're posed next to the teeny-tiny Tom Cruise so that they have to hunch their shoulders and bend their knees and still be taller. Although it does make them look huge. It's not that Katie Holmes has her fist clenched so tightly that it looks like she's gonna hit someone. It's the hard-featured man-face that's throwing me.

Valentines day

Neither Ernie nor I really care much about "special days". Not that I can't get into it if the person I'm with is - my first lover Eddie (interesting how "lover" isn't used much now but was back then) was way into anniversaries, holidays, etc and and I was way into making him happy, so I did the necessary and it made me feel good to do so.

I believe that if I thought it was important than Ernie would do the same, but he'd complain about it. But he wants me to be happy too.

What we enjoy is day to day stuff - friends, cooking, having people over, going fun places. None of these requires a calendar and synchronicity with others doing the same.

I have to admit to missing it just a little bit, but not missing the sometimes forced feeling of it.
